Look at those eyes.....

Sergey received a call from a lady who had come from Alaska wth her Border Collie, Yamo.  He had been shot and she took him to the vet.  After several trips to the vet, he was no better...in fact, his leg had become gangrenous.  She was told he might need to have his leg amputated.

Trying to save his leg, his owner brought he beloved boy to Bellingham.  Once here, she needed help.

Although the Sergey Fundation was able to help her, she still was in need of more. Once she found it, Yamo had the needed surgery to save his life.  His leg was amputated, but by a competent vet here in Whatcom County.

He is now back in Alaska with his beloved companion, Yenta, below with him at home.
